Introduction :
RG 319 is a soft waxy material made by blending various inhibitors and basically consists of oxygenated hydrocarbon. The characteristic of RG 319 is its protection offered under severe conditions of acid fumes is excellent.
The protection film of RG 319, left on the metal after evaporation of the solvent is ultra thin and highly protective. This is can also be used in mineral oils.

- Colour : Brown waxy solid
- Drop melting point : 45 – 50
- Acid number : 12 – 18
- Density : 0.92 – 0.97
- Flash Point : 130 – 140
Recommended Formulation
Industrial Rust Preventives :
- 10 to 12 % of RG 319 & Balance mineral spIrits (Solvent)
- 12 to 15 % of RG 319 & Balance oil
The selection of carrier (oil, solvent or mixture) is based on the type of film desired.
Applications :
- Automotive rust proofing application.
- Effective protection of galvanised & aluminium metals.
- Protection of steel in storage against high humidity acid fumes.
